FF-02 Ladder Company Operations 12 Hours  $75.00

This class deals with general functions that over the years have been called "truck duties" and in no way implies that a ladder truck is a required part of these functions.  We have all sworn to protect life and property.  This mission may take on unusual forms and is often the job of support personnel to carry them out.  Among the tasks we will address are Laddering, Overhual, Ventilation, forcible Entry, Rescue and Search, salvage, and control of Utilities (LOVERS U). We will also discuss officer size up and materials of construction.  This is a basic to intermediate level class.  Knowledge of ladders, forcible entry and ventilation will be helpful.

Requirements:  Full turn out gear with eye protection.  No SCBA required.
