RS-05 Technical Rescue Awareness  12 hours  $70.00

This 12 hour course is designed to provide the students with the knowledge to identify technical rescue incidents.  This course will cover basic and general knowledge of the following technical rescue disciplines:  Structural Collapse, Rope Rescue, Confined Space, Vehicle and Machinery, Water, Wilderness, and Trench/Excavation.  These seven areas are identified in NFPA 1670.  The information you will be provided will be at the awareness level.  Technical rescue awareness training will provide you the information needed to identify the specific hazards and rescue situations.  This certification is needed to move to the Operations and/or Technician levels of any of the 7 technical rescue disciplines.  This is classroom instruction only.

 The state written test will be given at the end of the course.
