Representative: Chris Rainbolt, New Albany Fire Department

Chris Rainbolt is currently a Major on the New Albany Fire Department, where he supervises a crew of approximately 25 firefighters.  He joined the New Albany Fire Department in December of 1983.  Prior to becoming a career firefighter Chris was a volunteer firefighter for 6 years.  Chris has served with the New Albany Fire Department in the capacity of firefighter/Advanced EMT, Sergeant, Captain, Training Officer and Deputy Chief.   He has numerous levels of certifications and continues to teach for the Indiana Fire Instructors Association.  Chris has also served as President of the IFIA for 4 years. He has served on the Board of Directors for the IFIA since 1996.

Joe is currently an Assistant Chief with Ramsey Volunteer Fire Department in Harrison County.  He also serves as the Training Officer, which has been his role for the last six months.  Joe has been with Ramsey VFD since 1993.  He continues to educate himself and others by attending and teaching at the Indiana Fire Instructors Association, as well as teaching outreach courses at his department.  Joe is a certified EMT and is employed part-time with the Harrison County Hospital EMS and is attending courses to obtain his Advanced EMT Certification.  Joe is currently serving as a Sergeant with the Indiana State Police working out of the Sellersburg post serving as shift supervisor.  He also serves on the State Bomb Squad and Civil Disorder Team.  Joe has been on the IFIA Board of Directors since 2005 and continues to offer valuable insight regarding the fire service and the organization.
