AM-05   Driver Operator Aerial 24 Hours   $150.00

*Please note that Class will be held Friday, April 9th from 6pm-9pm in addition to both weekends*

NFPA Driver Operator (Aerial) class will certify students in the operation of aerial apparatus.

Prerequisites:  Firefighter I and a valid drivers license. - You must meet the prerequisites to attend this course.  No refunds will be given.  IDHS will no longer hold certificates until you obtain the prerequisite. If you have any questions contact IDHS at 800-666-7784.

Requirements: PPE (NO SCBA)  IFSTA Aerial Apparatus Driver/Operator  (contact the IFIA at 800-235-0282 to order)

Instructor: Michael Rude

20 years fire service experience, Merit Engineer with the City of Lawrence FD, Part-time firefighter with White River Twp FD (Johnson Co.), Instructor II/III, Member of Indiana Fire Instructors Association and Indy Metro FOOLS.  Michael has taught numerous classes for the IFIA and the Department of Defense through the IFIA's outreach program in Arizona and Oklahoma.  Michael has taught at the FDIC HOT classes in Indianapolis, Trench Rescue 2001-2005, and Site Safety Officer for NFPA 1403 Live Burns 2006-Present.  Michaels' true enjoyment comes in the form of teaching and training both new and veteran Engineers/Driver Operators in the NFPA Driver Operator Pumper and Aerial Courses.
