Leadership is the missing link in today's fire service.  This class will explore the key ingredients of Leadership, Root Cause of Issues, Decision-Making and student-bases leadership issues.  We will also look at the ultimate in Leadership:  The Level 5 Leader.  This class will be fast-paced, informative and it will also answer the question "How is getting fired related to positive Leadership?"

Instructor: Mike Bucy

Mike is a lieutenant with the Portage Fire Department where he formerly was Assistant Chief of Operations.  Mike is retired from Union Fire-Rescue as Fire Chief.  Mike has been in emergency services for over 23 years and holds numerous fire service certifications along with a management degree from Ball State University.  He also operates his own training and consulting business.
