ST-05  Large Area Search  12 Hours   $70.00

Large area search will introduce new techniques that will allow you to build on previously learned search skills.  You will be able to search large, complex areas thoroughly and efficiently.  You will learn to accomplish this difficult task with minimal duplication while maintaining rapid egress if needed.  This class will focus on firefighter safety by stressing the importance of avoiding disorientation and proper air management.  This class will also include discussion of how to help streamline rapid intervention.
